Kirsty Allsop's Jewels
"Dear Hilary, On one of the Location, Location television programmes, Kirstie Allsopp wore a large, green-stone, dress ring, which took my wife’s fancy. I would like to buy one like it for her, but I have not been able to find anything similar in the shops or on the internet. Regards, John, Bristol

Dear John,

Kirstie’s gorgeous ring is an antique, set with an acquamarine, and was a present from her husband, bought at auction. You do not mention a budget, so I have sourced a selection from a variety of price ranges. At the top end, Michael Rose, Burlington Arcade, London, W1 - www.michael rosejewels.com, has a 1940s, aquamarine, dress ring (single stone, 13.75 ct), set in platinum, for £6,950. At Grays Antiques, 58 Davies Street, London, W1 - www.graysantiques.com, aquamarine dress rings, from the 1920s to the 1950s, range from £500 to £3,900."
